This Magnetic needle inclination demonstrates the Earth’s magnetic field and illustrate the ‘Thumb Rule’. The mounting of the magnetic needle is in high qaulity aluminium support which ensures free rotation of the needle by limiting the effects of friction. This is mounted on a nice strong base. Clear degree gauge.With 105 mm long steel needle, fully rotatable. Fitted in a mount with adjustable agate bearings. The device can be rotated from the vertical (used as a dip needle) to the horizontal (used as a compass needle).

One (1) high quality, single wheeled plastic pulley, on an open sided steel frame, with hooks at each end and one low friction, ball bearing plastic pulley with a diameter of 50 mm. The open sided frame greatly facilitates stringing up as no ‘threading’ is involved.
